MANAGEMENT APTITUDE TEST NOTIFICATION 2017

MAT 2017 Registration Dates

  • MAT registration 2017 starts – First week of December 2016
  • Last date for online registration – Last week of January 2017
  • Exam date (offline mode) – First week of February 2017
  • Exam date (online mode) – Second week of February 2017

How to Apply

  • Visit the official website of MAT 2017 (Link will be provided here).
  • Click on “Apply Online”.
  • Enter registration details and click on “Submit” button.
  • Note down your login details and login again to fill the application form.
  • Click on “Fill Application” and fill all the required details.
  • Upload the scanned images of Photograph and Signature.
  • Made the fee payment by choosing DD or any other online mode.
  • After fee payment, check the application status and also take some printout of the application form for further use.

Documents/Details Required:

  • Candidates personal, guardians, qualification and address details.
  • Scanned recent colored passport size photograph with light background. Image should be in jpg/jpeg format with 50 kb size.
  • Scanned signature. Signature should be made on white paper with black ink. The image should be in jpg/jpeg format and the image size should not exceed 50 kb.
  • Valid Email ID and Mobile Number.
  • Payment details.

Registration Fee:

The registration fee for MAT 2017 exam is Rs. 1200/-. Candidates can pay the fee through debit/credit card or net banking (online mode) and Demand Draft (DD) payable at AIMA, Delhi or cash payment at the AIMA, New Delhi to get the application form along with the MAT bulletin.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have done graduation from any stream are eligible to apply.
  • Students should have scored minimum 50% marks for general candidate and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
  • There is no age limit for this exam.
  • Indian National and NRI students are eligible to apply.

                         CAT 2017: Notification

  • Start Date of Online Application: first week of August, 2017
  • Last Date of Online Application: third week of September, 2017
  • Admit Card Download Date: last week of October, 2017
  • CAT 2017 Exam Date: last week of November, 2017
  • Result Announcement Date: Second week of January, 2018
CAT Registration Fee

  • For general and the OBC candidates the registration fee is Rs 1600/.
  • And for the SC/ST and physically disabled Candidates the registration fee is Rs 800/.


Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for CAT 2017 are mentioned below:
  • The minimum qualification required is bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD). If the obtained marks are in the form of CGPA then it would be converted to percentage marks based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution from where the candidate has passed his/her bachelor degree.
  • The candidates appearing in the final year of bachelor’s degree and whose results are awaiting are also eligible to apply for CAT.

Reservations

As per the policy of Indian government, the seat reservation will be applicable for CAT and the seats are reserved as follows:
  • Schedule Caste (SC) – 15% seats
  • Schedule Tribe (ST) – 7.5% seats
  • Non Creamy – Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC) – 27% seats
  • PWD Differently Abled (DA) candidates – 3% seats
The candidates claiming reservation have to upload their supporting certificates at the time of application/registration. In case of failure of uploading such documents will result in the rejection of your application.
